Can I add a battery to my existing solar panels?
In many cases, yes – sometimes with a new hybrid inverter. During the survey we check your current system, even if it wasn't installed by us.
Will the battery power my home during a power cut?
Yes, if the system is set up with a backup function. We agree with you which circuits should stay on – for example lights, fridge, router and pumps.
How big a battery do I need?
It depends on how much electricity you use in the evening and at night, and how much backup you want. We size the battery to your real consumption.
How long does a battery last?
Modern LiFePO4 batteries are designed for thousands of charge cycles and many years of daily use. Exact warranty terms depend on the manufacturer and model.
Can I expand the battery later?
Yes. The systems we install are modular, so you can add capacity later – for example when you buy an electric car.
